Join us on Monday, 3/17 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm for a reflective evening rooted in the Earth's Awakening, Balance & Gratitude and activated with the loving and joyful spirit of Cacao. As we begin our journey of transitioning from Winter to Spring we feel anticipation of the land's awakening as well as that within us. The Dark & the Light seek a balance for one day in which we can also align ourselves. And if we allow and welcome it with words deep from within ourselves, Gratitude can and will shape our journey for the year ahead. 

A lovely & peaceful gathering, this gentle Cacao ceremony is meant to help one set intention, listen and feel for the medicine of Cacao come through and to offer Gratitude for the lessons learned that evening and those yet to come.  

The cost is $35 per person and can be purchased through the ticket link or in the shop. As always, seating is limited for this intimate gathering. Please rsvp as soon as conveniently possible. We will be meeting at the shop’s Spiritual Sanctuary in Earl Township, Berks County. The address will be made available after tickets are purchased. Please bring a journal, your favorite small mug, pen, and comfortable clothing. One last thing...please time your meals to avoid a full tummy for ceremony and make sure you are hydrated with water.

       
*PLEASE MAKE NOTE: CEREMONIAL CACAO & SSRI’S
Cacao is a natural antidepressant, and is contraindicated with SSRI based antidepressants, which are ‘selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitors’ making our cells more able to receive serotonin. Cacao has the same effect, and when people who are already on SSRI antidepressants, drinking a ceremonial dose of cacao can overload the receptors with serotonin. It’s important to note that not all antidepressants have SSRIs, so it’s an important distinction to make. It’s also important to note that other medication such as some anti-psychotics also work in the serotonin & dopamine pathways in the brain, and these are also contraindicated. We want this to be a positive experience for everyone & should this be a concern for you, please request a cup of herbal tea.
