Currently and over the years, Betula's Botanica has had the distinction of collaborating with many local & highly competent holistic and spiritual practitioners whose mission is to assist with energy healing, spiritual guidance and education. We also work passionately at creating a local & safe spiritual community that supports all who join us.  In 2024, a beautiful private sanctuary became available in the hills and forests of Earl Township, Berks County and is where many of our educational & spiritual gathers take place. 


Betula's Spiritual Practitioners

Monica Dech ~ Betula

Owner of Betula’s Botanica and Wiccan High Priestess has been practicing Wicca & Witchcraft since 2001 and continues her studies in areas of Herb Craft, Traditional Witchcraft and Folk Magic. An initiate & High Priestess of Gardnerian Wicca, & although a solitary practitioner, Betula has had the honor and joy of leading a Coven for over 9 years. One of her favorite experiences has been guiding seekers along the path and witnessing their growing confidence and achievements. In September of 2022, Betula organized and lead the first of her annual Goddess Gathers and continues to offer Sabbat rituals throughout the year along with workshops pertaining to Herbcraft or other assorted magical practices such as monthly Tarot & Tea gathers & a Samhain centered workshop on Creating an Ancestral Altar. Betula also offers Cacao Ceremonies and is currently immersed in classes to deepen her connection with the Spirit of Cacao and to enhance her skills as a ceremonial facilitator. Gavin the Bearfoot Mystic....

...has been reading Tarot for over 15 years and has been a certified "hands off" Reiki Practitioner for 10 years. Gavin is currently going through the Munay-Ki Rites to further his healing & universal knowledge. He is also a Twin Flame and does Mediumship readings with her outside of Betula's Shop.  "I allow myself to connect to the Universe, so that I might be able to heal & help in any way I can", says Gavin.

Nikki ~ Mystic Nik

Greetings, Friends!
My name is Nikki, though you’re more likely to find me on the
 interwebs as Mystic Nik. I am descended from a long line of mystics, mediums, and healers, and have found myself on this path across many lifetimes. First and foremost, I am a true believer that healing isn’t linear, is ever-evolving, and can be initiated in a multitude of ways and/or modalities.
As I have experienced and healed through many layers of grief, heartache, trauma, and addiction, I’ve dedicated a large portion of my life to helping others do the same…and as anyone who has struggled in life knows, it’s a process. I am an eternal student and have built a toolbelt becoming of one. I’m not one for titles, but I understand the need for society to assign them: 
Medium. Like my mother before me, I was sensitive to spirits from an early age, but my mediumship was deeply activated when I lost my father in 2011. Along that path I gained a deeper understanding of energy, life, death, the universe, and the divine…all leading me to explore and question things further and further so that I may more effectively help guide others through their grief.
Psychic. Intuitive. Energy Reader…from the beginning. I was drawn to my first Tarot deck at the age of 12 and have since amassed a triple-digit collection of Tarot and Oracle decks that I use in different ways to aid people on their healing journey. I believe them to be a very useful tool for gaining insight into the chaos of life and the human condition.
Shamanic Reiki Practitioner. Above all else, I am a healer. I had been channeling energy as a healing modality for a long time but didn’t realize it until I reconnected with a childhood friend in 2020 who happened to be a Reiki Master. She took me under her wing so that I could utilize it more intentionally, and introduced me to Shamanic Reiki, an energy healing modality that dives deeper into the root of our energetic woes, so that we can heal from a deeper, more constructive place.
In addition to those titles, I provide other services that typically incorporate some of those aspects as well. Ordained Minister. Intuition & Manifestation Coach. Spiritual Advisor. Relationship Counselor. If you can’t catch me in person, I do offer one on one sessions via various video-conferencing applications, and can periodically be found livestreaming on social media, where I offer condensed and collective versions of my services. Helena Domenic ~ Artist, Wiccan High Priestess, & Author

 

Helena Domenic is an artist whose life has had many interesting twists and turns. She is an accomplished artist, writer, Wiccan High Priestess, and recently retired professor of drawing. Helena maintains a studio in Phoenixville, PA where she offers classes and workshops. She holds a BFA from Kutztown University, an MA in Art Education from The University of the Arts, and an MFA from Goddard College in Plainfield, Vermont. For over twenty years, Helena was an Associate Professor in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education, teaching both art history and studio art courses at Cheyney University and Kutztown University. She is currently attending classes for certification in Spiritual Direction from Cherry Hilly Seminary. Helena lectures regularly at conferences about art and the sacred, painting, and installation at both academic and healing arts venues.

Helena has shown her artwork in Philadelphia, New York, across the United States and in Egypt and South Africa. Helena was born in Vicenza, Italy where she was exposed to great works of art from a very early age. After viewing the Sistine Chapel ceiling at the age of eighteen months, her mother predicted she would become an artist

Helena has written and published An Illuminated Guide to Wicca, available from Schiffer Publishing. Helena has also self-published a Tarot deck and book, The Fellowship of the Fool Tarot.

Having recently suffered a severe spinal column injury, Helena’s art is about healing and empowerment for women. She enjoys studying global mythology and bringing it into a contemporary context for today’s trying times.

Kristen Wisniewski ~ Chihuawitch Stained Glass Artist & Crystal Witch

My name is Kristen. I am a Berks County native. A few of my hobbies include gardening, crafting natural remedies, crystals, reading, stained glass, my rescued chihuahuas and advocating for animals!  I found a deep connection with nature and animals at a very young age. Intrigued by the earth’s treasures, I started collecting gems, rocks and crystals in grade school. As my collection grew over the past few decades, I became more connected with the properties and magical information these stones have to share with us.  Having a green thumb and an affection for plants and gardening has led me to explore the herbal path in recent years. Learning to pair herbs and make remedies has become a passion to lead a more green, natural life.  Crafting with my hands was ingrained in my soul from a long line of hard-working ancestors. They blessed me with their many artistic abilities. I took up stained glass art about 5 years ago as a hobby. Self-taught through you-tube videos and countless hours of practice finds me here today with pieces for sale here at Betula’s Botanica and also taking custom/ commissioned orders.  Plus keep an eye on the web site schedule for upcoming Discovery of Crystals workshops!
